Born in 1880 at Chester, son of Joshua (Auctioneer) and Jane Mosscrop. 1881: With his family at 17 Bouverie Street Chester. 1891: A Scholar with his family at 22 Chichester Street Chester. On 15-04-04 his Father, home address 30 Chichester Street Chester, died in the National Hospital, Queen Street, Bloomsbury. 1911: A Dress Goods Warehouseman with his widowed Mother and Brother John, at “Enneskerry”, Derby Road South Woodford.

He enlisted at 56 Davis Street London, joining 16 London Regiment (Westminster Rifles), and was Killed in Action while fighting around Arras.
